AGIBOT Launches AGIBOT World Challenge @ ICRA 2026: Registration Now Open for the $530,000 Global Robotics Event

SHANGHAI, CHINA - February 12, 2026AGIBOT, a leading robotics company specializing in embodied intelligence, today officially announced the launch of the AGIBOT World Challenge @ ICRA 2026. This premier global competition, held in conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), invites the world’s top AI and robotics talent to push the boundaries of embodied AI on a unified, full-stack development platform.

A World-Class Stage for Robotics Innovation

Since 1984, ICRA has been the world’s largest and most influential conference in robotics and automation, attracting more than 5,000 top academics, engineers, and industry leaders each year. Organized by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE RAS), ICRA serves as a central hub for showcasing frontier research and fostering collaboration between academia and industry.

Against this backdrop, AGIBOT has built AGIBOT World, a comprehensive, full-stack development ecosystem that integrates hardware, data, models, and simulation. The platform includes G1/G2 embodied robots, million-scale real-world and simulation datasets, and the GO-1 foundation model, providing a robust foundation for the competition. To ensure a seamless developer experience, the challenge will utilize Genie Sim 3.0, AGIBOT’s next-generation open-source simulation platform. All task scenarios, simulation assets, and evaluation protocols are fully synchronized with the online evaluation servers, enabling efficient and reliable closed-loop development from local testing to final submission.

Two Specialized Tracks: From Perception to Action

The challenge is structured into two core tracks, targeting the most critical hurdles in the field:

Reasoning to Action Track (Sim-to-Real Focus): Participants will move from online simulation to offline real-robot validation. The goal is to develop models that can transition from open-vocabulary understanding to robust physical interaction in complex, real-world environments.

World Model Track (Generative & Predictive Focus): This online track challenges teams to build models that predict sensory evolution. Given an initial observation and a sequence of actions, the model must accurately forecast the robot’s future visual state—a cornerstone of advanced robotic intuition.

Together, the two tracks are designed to drive breakthroughs across the full pipeline—from simulation to real robots, and from perception to action.

Industrial-Grade Hardware and High-Fidelity Simulation

Participants will develop and compete directly on the latest AGIBOT G2 robot, a general-purpose embodied intelligence platform built to industrial standards. AGIBOT G2 is equipped with high-performance joint actuators, multi-modal sensors, and a powerful domain controller, and is supported by the GDK (Genius Development Kit) for secondary development and customization.

The competition is further supported by Genie Sim 3.0, which combines high-fidelity physics simulation with natural-language-driven scene generation. The platform can generate large-scale task scenarios and evaluation environments within minutes, while providing open simulation datasets and a complete evaluation toolchain—enabling rapid iteration and continuous optimization in highly realistic virtual environments.

$530,000 in Award and Research Support

The AGIBOT World Challenge offers a total prize pool of USD 530,000, including cash awards and AGIBOT hardware vouchers designed to support continued research and development.

First Place: USD 10,000 Cash Prize

Second Place: USD 5,000 Cash Prize

Third Place: USD 3,000 Cash Prize

Hardware Research Vouchers: Selected teams across all tracks will be eligible for vouchers ranging from USD 10,000 to USD 100,000 to support their continued R&D with AGIBOT hardware.

In addition, winning teams will receive official competition certificates, and top performers may gain access to fast-track career opportunities with AGIBOT
